Massive MIMO and NOMA in 5G

5G is the fifth generation of cellular mobile communications. It succeeds the 4G (LTE/WiMax), 3G (UMTS) and 2G (GSM) systems. 5G performance targets include high data rate, reduced latency, energy saving, cost reduction, higher system capacity and massive device connectivity. The talk presents, Massive MIMO antenna technology and Non Orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technologies to achieve the higher system capacity requirements of 5G

Chakka. Vijay Kumar is currently a Professor and senior member of IEEE working in EE dept., SOE, Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida, India. His research interests are Signal processing for Wireless communication, Graph Signal processing and its applications.
