Talk 5: Massive MIMO and NOMA in 5G by Dr. V. ChakkaDAIICT Winter School on 5G Communications
Massive MIMO and NOMA in 5G
5G is the fifth generation of cellular mobile communications. It succeeds the 4G (LTE/WiMax), 3G (UMTS) and 2G (GSM) systems. 5G performance targets include high data rate, reduced latency, energy saving, cost reduction, higher system capacity and massive device connectivity. The talk presents, Massive MIMO antenna technology and Non Orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technologies to achieve the higher system capacity requirements of 5G Dr. Chakka's Bio
